Liam McNamee, Founder, Roadmaster
In the summer of 1996, our founder Liam McNamee was intrigued to see some of the first-generation American Spray Patchers in operation while travelling. Liam was fascinated by the idea, immediately recognising the benefit it could bring to Ireland’s labour-intensive road maintenance process, and as an engineer, he was also struck by the potential to innovate and develop the machines further.
So began many years of trial, error, and progress, until the first Roadmaster machine hit the Irish roads in 1999. A sustained 25-year passion for engineering and innovation coupled with deep customer collaboration now delivers the most advanced single-operator spray patchers in the world.
Roadmaster velocity patchers are designed with users at heart. Engineered to perform and built to last.
Through 3 decades of refinement, we developed the most advanced machines that turn the traditional road maintenance process on its head. Roadmaster makes safe, high-quality roads accessible for all, in a more labour, cost and carbon efficient way.
Roadmaster is committed to continued innovation with our range of machines. Bring us a problem and we’ll build you a solution!
